1. Start with your job

Claim Partner Pro starts after your contractor team has a claim or job that needs estimating or supplement help. Sign in, open Contractor workspace, and confirm the claim shown is the job you expect to work. The current app does not add a separate contractor acceptance button; your first action is to confirm the workspace, claim number, property context, and next action shown on the dashboard.

  • Use the dashboard claim card to see whether this is a TPA estimate or supplement workflow.
  • Check the next owner before changing anything. If the next owner is your team, open the page named by the primary action.
  • Use individual contractor seats so activity and status changes stay traceable.

2. Add claim and job context

Open Build claim package when Claim Partner Pro needs claim facts. Enter the information an estimator needs to understand the loss without calling your office for basics: scope summary or scope upload, loss address, dates, carrier or TPA context, and contractor notes. Add the actual photos after request review.

What the app does and doesn't do

Claim Partner Pro saves your claim details and scope files. It doesn't send updates to the carrier. Add the job photos in the upload step after we review the request.

3. Watch estimator handoff

After the claim has enough detail, use Review estimator handoff and Status and audit to see where it stands. Matched means we found an estimator. Accepted means the estimator took the job. If the estimator hasn't accepted yet, keep your claim details ready and check the status pages instead of guessing.

  • Check whether the estimator details are confirmed.
  • Use the checklist items to find missing files before estimator work stalls.
  • Use RFIs when the estimator asks for a specific missing fact or file.

4. Review estimate, materials, and fees

When a package is ready for you, check it against the job: loss address, service type, claim files, dates, scope assumptions, missed trades, and estimator notes. Use Fees to see the all-in claim price before the work moves forward.

  • When the status page points you to package review, review the files and notes that were sent back for review.
  • Use the Fees page to see the price; use the history to check payment status.
  • If the package doesn't match the claim, figure out whether a file is missing, the estimator read something differently, or the claim details are out of date.

5. Communicate through status and RFIs

Use Status and audit as the shared source of truth for what is complete, active, or blocked. When an RFI appears, answer the specific question and include the source for the answer. Broad replies such as 'see photos' slow the workflow down when the estimator asked for a particular date, measurement, or file reference.

6. Complete the handoff

When the package is reviewed and the status page no longer shows contractor-owned blockers, the handoff is complete from the contractor workspace perspective. Keep the history and fee view for your own records. Any later carrier, TPA, billing, or file delivery steps follow your normal process unless Claim Partner Pro shows those actions in the app.

Use the visible actions

If a button, status item, or RFI does not appear in Claim Partner Pro, do not assume the app completed that step in the background.
